Google Pixel is “the first phone Made by Google inside and out, entirely.” It is part of Google’s Hardware revolution that started with a couple of other #MadebyGoogle products like Daydream VR headset, Amazon Echo’s rival Google Home, Google Wifi Router, and Chromecast Ultra. Today we will be focusing on Pixel phones.

Google Pixel Camera
Pixel phones boast outclass capabilities. Both pixel phones have 12.3-megapixel cameras with smart-burst and HDR plus. Google says it has the fastest capture time than any smartphone camera.
While that claim only comes from company’s own tests, DXO Mark has given it a camera quality rating of 89, the highest for any smartphone camera available on the market.
Incredible video stabilization
Video stabilization used to be an exclusive feature of DSLRs, but as GoPro Hero 5 camera and Apple iPhone 7 showed it can be done in a pretty way. So Google was not going to hold back. The company has demonstrated how the shaky world appears through the lenses of Pixel phones. So with the next generation mobile phones, your video quality is going to be smoother than ever. But sometimes, you want to have a bumpy experience to depict “The Blairwitch Project” and “Cloverfield” style video recording, in which case you simply turn off the video stabilization.
Google Pixel Software
Remember when Android Nougat rolled out? It did so with the launch of Nexus phones and likewise, Android 7.1 Nougat is also first shipping with Google Pixel phones. There’s a lot to say about Android Nougat, which we have already covered, but with there are a few built-in features that will be exclusive to Pixel phones, and not all Nougat phones.
Unlimited Google photos
Built-in Google photos, with unlimited storage of high-quality photos, and videos is a bonus you get with Pixel phones. It is a lifetime offer, which is amazing because your data can amount to terabytes in that time but you don’t have to worry because your photos and videos will be backed-up safely.
Among others built-in software features, Google Assistant as to be the best one. It is not Siri, but it is better than Siri because, like the Google Search, the Assistant is powered by partly Open-Sourced Tensor Flow, which is the best AI engine in the world.
Built-in File Transfer Tool
Pixel’s built-in File transfer tool can be used to share contact, photos, videos, music, text, calendar appointments, and iMessages. We don’t know how far back it can push to beat Zapya, but if it is good and fast enough as the tech giant claims, there would be no sense in installing a third party software when you have a file transfer tool that ships with your smartphone. There is also a screen sharing option, which is a separate tool, but the point is sharing so…
Automatic Android Updates
Now you don’t have to manually update your android smartphone because Pixel phones accomplished the feat in the background. So when you will buy, it will have Android 7.1 but it will have been upgraded several times through 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, and soon on, by the time you would be thinking about replacing it.
Google Pixel Hardware
The latest Snapdragon chips, 4GB RAM, AMOLED screen, and many specs list shown in the beginning help it shine. But lets’s really talk about the new capabilities. For instance, the Aluminum unibody (unibody body means made from a single piece, not connected panels) which gives the smartphone a breathtaking aesthetic appeal Nexus 6P failed to achieve completely.
The company claims 7 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging. Considering that one of the Pixel phones has a huge 5.5-inch screen, getting up and going for work fifteen minutes of recharge is like the on-the-shelf option we have always wanted. The 2,770 mAh and 3,450 mAh batteries make sure enough electrical energy is stored to accord with the two screen sizes.
Cases, Accessories, and Personalisation
Pixel phones will come with a brand new range of cases and accessories. The Sept. 4 event clued that this range is going to be extensive and phone owners will be able to personalize its looks anyway they want. These cases will be additional customizations to the three available colors: Quite Black, Very Silver, and a limited edition Very Blue.
Price and Availability
Google Pixel phones start at $649. The buyers in the US can get it for $27/month from the Google Stores. The pre-orders were announced with the launch in the US, Australia, Canada, Germany, and the UK, while it will be released in India on October 13.
